Four Pieces, One Word

Turkish is written in your own alphabet with six extra letters, so you can read it aloud on the first day. The surprise is underneath: a Turkish word is not a thing with bits bolted on, it IS the bits. House is ev, houses is evler, my houses is evlerim, and in my houses is evlerimde — four pieces, always in that order, and every piece changes its vowel to match the word it is joining. The rule has no exceptions, which means you can build a word nobody taught you.
