First Signs, Before They Can Talk

A small child can make a sign months before they can say the word, which means they can ask for a drink instead of crying about it. Eight signs, big enough to copy off the page, with the ones that pay off fastest first: more, eat, drink, and all done. Nothing here needs a grown-up who knows any sign language, because a handshape is a picture and a picture is the one thing paper is good at. No reading and no writing - the child copies your hands, and you copy the page.
